dark chocolate or milk chocolate
Instructions
Preparation
Mix the sweetened condensed milk and shredded coconut in a bowl until well combined.
Spread this mixture into a 2 cm thick layer in a square mold lined with parchment paper.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for one night to set.
The next day, remove from the refrigerator and cut into rectangles.
Shape the rectangles with your fingers to achieve a nice rounded shape.
Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
In a bowl, melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Coating
Remove the coconut bars from the freezer.
Using a fork, dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s well coated.
Remove excess chocolate by tapping the fork and scrape it on the bowl's edge.
Place it delicately on a piece of parchment paper.
Repeat for all coconut bars.
Chill the chocolate-covered bars until the chocolate hardens. Enjoy!
Notes
