Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom. Hollow out some of the insides to create space for the stuffing.
In a mixing bowl, combine the pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Fill the hollowed-out halves of bread with the pizza mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
Place the stuffed bread halves on a baking sheet, ensuring they are secure and won’t tip over.
Lightly brush the tops of the stuffed bread with olive oil for a beautiful golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
Once baked, let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing it into manageable pieces. Serve warm.
Notes
Tips for Success: Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, add your favorite toppings, pre-toast the bread halves for a crispier crust, and ensure even cooking by stirring the mixture thoroughly before stuffing.
