Ingredients

For the Brownie Base

  • 1 box brownie mix Follow package instructions for preparation.

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for a richer texture.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Regular granulated sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs Add one at a time.

For Serving

  • 1 cup heavy cream For whipping.
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce Warm before serving.
  • Whipped cream, for serving To top the cheesecake.
  • Cherries, for garnish Optional, for decoration.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and spread it evenly in the bottom of the pan. Bake for about 20 minutes.

Making the Cheesecake

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked brownie layer and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow to cool, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Before serving, warm the chocolate fudge sauce and pour it over the cheesecake.
  • Top with whipped cream and cherries as desired.

Notes

For a fudgier brownie, underbake slightly. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
