Ingredients

Cookie Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter for glaze
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for glaze
  • 1 tbsp water for glaze
  • 1 tsp vanilla for glaze

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the white cake mix, whisked eggs, and melted butter until a dough forms.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • While the cookies are baking, make the glaze by melting the additional butter in a saucepan.
  • Stir in the granulated sugar, water, and vanilla, then bring to a simmer.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately brush the glaze over the warm cookies.
  • Allow the cookies to cool before serving.

Notes

These cookies are delightful on their own but can also be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For a month-long storage, freeze in an airtight container.
