Preparation
Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds and place them in a bowl.
Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for about 15 minutes to draw out water.
Rinse the cucumbers and drain the excess water.
Dressing
In a separate bowl, mix together the rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and optional chili flakes.
Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss to combine.
