Ingredients
For the crust

graham cracker crumbs
1/3
cup
melted butter

sugar
For the filling

cream cheese, softened
Make sure it's at room temperature for easy blending.

powdered sugar
Adjust sweetness to taste.

fresh lemon juice
Fresh is recommended for best flavor.
Zest of 1

For additional flavor.

Fold gently into the mixture.
Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until fully mixed.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool.
Filling
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest, mixing until well combined.
Fold in the whipped cream gently until fully incorporated.
Spread the cream layer evenly over the cooled crust.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
Best served chilled. Garnish with lemon zest or fresh berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
