Lemon Bliss Tart

A delightful dessert combining tangy lemon filling and a crunchy biscuit crust, topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 packet digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Filling

  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup lemon zest Use fresh lemon zest for enhanced flavor.

Topping

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 pieces chocolates of your choice, crushed Optional; can also use more lemon zest.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter until well blended. Press the mixture into the base of a tart pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.

Baking

  • Pour the lemon mixture over the prepared crust and bake for 10-15 minutes or until set.
  • Allow to cool, then chill in the refrigerator.

Serving

  • Before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed chocolates or additional lemon zest on top.
  • Slice the Lemon Bliss Tart into generous wedges and serve chilled.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Add whipped cream just before serving to keep it fluffy.
