  • 1 lb ground beef Cooked and drained
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Divided into two portions
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned; drain excess fat.
  • Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, crumbled bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the layers, then top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days. Freeze portions for longer storage. Can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
