For the fudge
2cups2 cups chocolate chipsUse high-quality chocolate chips for best flavor.
1can1 can sweetened condensed milk
1teaspoon1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2cups2 cups mini marshmallowsRegular marshmallows can be used but may need to be cut.

Preparation
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, stirring until melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Gently fold in mini marshmallows and nuts if using.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Allow it to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
Notes
Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate in warmer climates. Freeze for longer storage, separating layers with parchment paper.
