marinara sauce

Cook according to package instructions.

ricotta cheese

shredded mozzarella cheese
Divided for layering.

grated parmesan cheese

teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper

Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Assembly
In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by the sausage and marinara mixture, then the cheese mixture.
Top with the remaining spaghetti and the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
Baking
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs like basil or parsley. Pairs well with a crisp green salad and garlic bread.
