  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms (cremini or button) such as cremini or button

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and boil the lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté mushrooms and garlic in butter, then add cooked chicken and season.
  • Prepare Alfredo sauce: Create a roux with butter and flour, then add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  • Assemble lasagna layers with sauce, noodles, chicken, and mushrooms.
  • Bake covered with foil, then uncover to brown the top.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding a layer of mozzarella cheese on top of the lasagna before baking.
