No-Bake Chocolate M&M Pie

Ingredients

For the crust

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos or graham crackers)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the filling

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine the crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter in a medium bowl until well mixed.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish to form the crust.
  • In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Serve chilled, optionally topped with additional M&M's or whipped cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture. Use vanilla wafers or graham crackers for a crust variation. Set overnight for best results.
