For the crust
2cupscrushed chocolate cookies (Oreos or graham crackers)
1/2cupmelted butter
For the filling
1 1/2cupsheavy cream
12ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4cuppowdered sugar

Preparation
Combine the crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter in a medium bowl until well mixed.
Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish to form the crust.
In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
Add powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
Pour the chocolate filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serving
Serve chilled, optionally topped with additional M&M's or whipped cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt to the chocolate mixture. Use vanilla wafers or graham crackers for a crust variation. Set overnight for best results.
