Ingredients

For the Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese Can substitute with other cheese varieties.
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Use whole grain or lettuce wraps for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • Toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, etc.) Customize based on preference.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
  • Form the ground beef into 4 equal patties and season generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, ensuring they are cooked through.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each patty to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked beef patty on the bottom half of each bun, generously topping with pizza sauce and your favorite toppings.
  • Complete the burger by placing the top half of the bun on and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, consider freezing cooked patties.
