For the base
200g200 g (about 18 Oreos), crushedUse regular Oreos for the best flavor.
60g60 g (4 tbsp) salted butter, meltedEnsure butter is fully melted for better mixing.
For the filling
1tin1 tin (380g / 13.4oz) Carnation caramel
200g200 g (1 ¼ cups) white chocolate chipsFeel free to substitute with dark chocolate chips.
14pieces14 extra Oreos (broken into chunks)Leave some chunks larger for extra crunch.
Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted salted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press this mixture firmly into the base of a lined baking dish to form a solid crust.
Layering
Pour the Carnation caramel over the prepared Oreo base and spread it evenly across the surface.
Sprinkle the white chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
Top the bars with the 14 extra Oreos, breaking them into chunks as you go.
Press the Oreo pieces gently into the white chocolate layer.
Baking
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Cooling
Remove the bars from the oven and let them cool in the pan.
Once they reach room temperature, refrigerate for at least an hour to set fully before slicing.
