Ingredients

For the base

  • 200 g 200 g (about 18 Oreos), crushed Use regular Oreos for the best flavor.
  • 60 g 60 g (4 tbsp) salted butter, melted Ensure butter is fully melted for better mixing.

For the filling

  • 1 tin 1 tin (380g / 13.4oz) Carnation caramel
  • 200 g 200 g (1 ¼ cups) white chocolate chips Feel free to substitute with dark chocolate chips.
  • 14 pieces 14 extra Oreos (broken into chunks) Leave some chunks larger for extra crunch.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted salted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press this mixture firmly into the base of a lined baking dish to form a solid crust.

Layering

  • Pour the Carnation caramel over the prepared Oreo base and spread it evenly across the surface.
  • Sprinkle the white chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
  • Top the bars with the 14 extra Oreos, breaking them into chunks as you go.
  • Press the Oreo pieces gently into the white chocolate layer.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

Cooling

  • Remove the bars from the oven and let them cool in the pan.
  • Once they reach room temperature, refrigerate for at least an hour to set fully before slicing.

Notes

These bars are best served chilled. For a fancier touch, drizzle with extra caramel or melted white chocolate before serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
