Ingredients

Dough and Toppings

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or homemade dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Brush this mixture over the pizza dough.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other to form a log.
  • Cut the log into bite-sized pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add freshly chopped herbs like basil or parsley to the butter mixture. If you like a little spice, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes. Make the dough ahead of time or use store-bought dough for convenience. To store leftover pizza rolls, let them cool completely and then place them in an airtight container. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
