Ingredients

Pasta and Chicken

  • 300 g penne
  • 2 pieces chicken fillets, sliced into strips

Vegetables and Seasoning

  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 150 g green asparagus, cut
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Cream Sauce

  • 200 ml heavy cream

Instructions

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the penne according to package instructions, then set it aside and keep warm.

Sautéing Chicken and Vegetables

  • In a large skillet, sauté the chicken strips with minced garlic over medium heat until the chicken is golden brown.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and asparagus to the skillet, cooking them until they soften, which should take about 5-6 minutes.

Making the Cream Sauce

  • Pour in the heavy cream, adding salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combining Ingredients

  • Toss the cooked penne into the skillet, mixing everything together until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Use fresh asparagus for the best taste. Consider marinating the chicken strips in garlic and olive oil for added flavor. Feel free to finish the dish with a dollop of cream before serving.
