Instructions
Preparation
In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Baking
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet, add your favorite toppings, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Notes
Let the pizza cool for a minute before slicing for clean cuts. Serve with marinara or garlic dipping sauce.
