1cancream of mushroom soup
1cupshredded cheese (cheddar)

Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef and onions with cream of mushroom soup, sliced potatoes, and seasonings.
Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
Top the casserole with shredded cheese.
Baking
Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
This casserole makes excellent leftovers and can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. When reheating, add a tablespoon of water to preserve moisture.
