Ingredients

  • 2 pieces eggs Make sure they are at room temperature
  • 150 g plain Greek yogurt Use room temperature yogurt for better mixing
  • 150 g flour All-purpose flour works best
  • 100 g sugar Adjust the sugar based on preference for sweetness
  • 1 sachet baking powder Approximately 11g
  • chocolate flakes or raisins Optional for added flavor and texture

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in the Greek yogurt until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder together.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate flakes or raisins.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes

To keep your cake fresh, store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for about a week. For longer storage, freeze individual slices wrapped tightly in plastic wrap.
