Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Use room temperature butter for best results.
  • 2 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs Ensure eggs are at room temperature.
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Serve with powdered sugar, caramel, chocolate sauce, fresh berries, or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, up to 1 week in the fridge, or up to 3 months in the freezer.
