  • 1 tsp sugar

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef (or Italian sausage) over medium heat, then drain the grease.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  • In a slow cooker, combine the cooked meat mixture, pasta sauce, diced tomatoes (if using), Italian seasoning, and sugar.
  • Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve over cooked spaghetti and enjoy!
