Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small baking dish.
In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, molasses, melted butter, milk, and the egg.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Pour the batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
Baking
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
