Instructions
How to Make Smothered Chicken
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the chicken thighs on both sides. Set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until softened.
Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic, cook until golden.
Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly. Add heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, and paprika. Return the chicken to the skillet.
Cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
