Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (or frozen)
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup almond milk (low-fat milk, soy or oat milk)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 - 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. If using frozen fruit, there is no need to add additional ice.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add a splash of milk to thin out the smoothie, or add more ice to thicken it, as needed.

Notes

Feel free to customize your smoothie by adding a handful of spinach for extra nutrients or a scoop of protein powder for added protein.
