How to Make Strawberry Stuffed French Toast

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup milk, sliced strawberries, and honey. Mix well and set aside.
  • In a large bowl or pie plate, whisk together eggs, 1 cup of milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Melt butter on a hot griddle. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides, then place on the hot griddle. Repeat for all slices.
  • Cook each slice of French toast for 2 minutes per side until a golden brown crust forms. Remove from the pan.
  • Divide the strawberry mixture between 4 slices of toast, spreading evenly. Top with another slice of toast to create a sandwich. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with maple syrup.
