  • 2 pieces firm, ripe bananas, peeled and sliced thinly into rounds Choose ripe but firm bananas for best results.
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil Use melted coconut oil for a healthier option.
  • 1 tbsp white sugar or coconut sugar Use coconut sugar for a healthier choice.
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon For added flavor, experiment with spices like nutmeg.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the banana slices, melted butter or coconut oil, sugar, and ground cinnamon. Toss well to coat the banana slices.
  • Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cooking

  • Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.
  • Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Store banana chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. To revive crispness, pop them back in the air fryer for a few minutes.
