Prepare the pizza dough by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
Cooking
While the dough rises, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for 5 minutes and set aside.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased baking dish. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the dough.
Sprinkle the seasoned ground beef evenly over the beans, then top with shredded cheese.
Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Serving
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Top with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, black olives, onions, and jalapeños.
Drizzle with sour cream or salsa before serving. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Serve hot and allow guests to customize their slices with additional salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
