Instructions
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned on both sides (about 5-7 minutes per side).
Combining Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix the chicken broth and cream of mushroom soup.
Place the browned chicken in a baking dish and pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
Sprinkle the diced onions on top and cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
