Ingredients

For the dip

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it is softened to room temperature for easier blending.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp honey Plus extra for drizzling.
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped candied pecans Can substitute with other nuts if desired.
  • to taste Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish Optional garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, honey, garlic powder, and black pepper until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  • Gently fold in half of the chopped candied pecans.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and top with the remaining pecans.
  • Drizzle lightly with extra honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

This dip pairs well with various dippers, including crackers, crostini, apple slices, or pretzels. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
