Ingredients
For the sauce

heavy cream

garlic, minced

olive oil

all-purpose flour

black pepper

dried oregano
1/2
teaspoon
dried basil

teaspoon
red pepper flakes

grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preparation
In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the saucepan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Sprinkle the flour over the garlic and stir to create a roux, cooking for 1 more minute.
Slowly whisk in the heavy cream, ensuring there are no lumps.
Stir in the salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
Continue cooking the sauce over medium heat, whisking continuously until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly before using it on your pizza.
Notes
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze in an ice cube tray.
