  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions

Cooking the Noodles

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

Cooking the Beef Mixture

  • In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and ginger; cook for 2-3 minutes.

Combining and Serving

  • Toss the cooked noodles with the beef mixture to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the ground beef in soy sauce and ginger for about 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the level of sweetness by modifying the quantity of hoisin sauce. Feel free to add more veggies, such as bell peppers or broccoli.
