Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350℉ and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a heavy-duty stand mixer, beat the first six ingredients at medium speed until well blended.
Gradually add the flour, a little at a time, beating just until combined.
Spoon the mixture into a cookie press fitted with a star-shaped disk.
On the prepared baking sheets, shape the mixture into long ribbons.
Cut the ribbons into 4-inch pieces.
Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove the cheese straws to wire racks to cool.
If desired, sprinkle with a little seasoned salt before serving.
